Hardened Glass is a block found in Thermal Expansion.

Hardened Glass is created in an Induction Smelter from Obsidian Dust and Pulverized Lead. It is highly blast resistant.

Recipe

• 2 Obsidian Dust
• 1 Lead Ingot, Lead Dust, or Pulverized Lead.

Dismantle Mechanic

Since this is glass, whacking it with a pickaxe to remove it will break it without dropping an item. However, if dismantled (Sneak + Activate) with a BuildCraft compatible Wrench or Crescent Hammer, the glass can be recovered.

Uses

While useful on its own, Hardened Glass is also used in the creation of more advanced blocks, such as the Redstone Energy Cell and Redstone Energy Conduit.
